Amanda Charlton

Estate Agent

Although born in Redhill, Surrey, Amanda feels like a true Bristolian – and rightly so seeing as she has lived here (in various boroughs) since she was five. Plus, her father owned and ran a well-regarded department store right here on Whiteladies Road, so Amanda can certainly lay claim to the area! Whilst attending Clifton High School, Amanda’s family moved to an estate in Clapton in Gordano where they had six acres, stables and horses – and thus cue many a happy moment, wearing tweed and jodhpurs, out riding in the Somerset/Bristol countryside and at numerous Pony Club events – diversions Amanda still loves to partake in. As well as having top-notch equestrian skills, Amanda is wonderful with people (a quality she ascribes to her mum). Her whole career has been people-oriented and we are delighted she is putting her super-powers to good use with us! Her warm, sociable and convivial manner quickly puts you at ease, and her local knowledge of Bristol and the property market makes her an invaluable colleague. When not working, Amanda loves to spend time with her three daughters, walking with her dog, reading, playing tennis and eating Toblerones – preferably straight from the fridge.
