Mia was born in the beautiful Georgian town of Aylesbury and spent her childhood in various places in the equally charming counties of Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire (schooling in Silverstone of F1 fame), before settling in the most charming place of all – Bristol – to earn her degree in Communication and Public Relations. Her love of property, fueled by a youth spent surrounded by Georgian, Tudor and Jacobean architecture in those picturesque Home Counties, is what brought her to us, well that and being headhunted for her vivacious personality. We knew instantly that her cheerful, effervescent and witty character would bring a certain something to our admin team, and very quickly Mia has become a highly regarded member of the RH family. Despite her tender age, Mia has accomplished quite a lot (this she attributes to her parents’ encouragement for her to try new things and seize opportunities) and can list hockey, ballet, gymnastics, piano, violin and singing amongst her many achievements, not to mention that she was also in the Navy and was their youngest female communication technician for over 20 years (go her!), and is really rather good at ice-skating, having competed in several championships. Irrespective of these triumphs, Mia says it’s the simple things that bring her the most happiness; talking to her mum, her dog Beau, rainy days, a pair of cozy slippers, her dog Beau, a comfy sofa, good food, her dog Beau, watching episodes of Selling The OC, oh, and did she mention that she loves her dog Beau…?
